Janice & Steven: Newport Mesa Church

Janice and Steven's wedding day was filled with a focus on their relationship together. Both of them are involved with their families and their community so the potential for a very large guest list was high. It was a huge testament to who they are as people. Janice is naturally beautiful and took the time while she was getting ready to reflect on her and Steven's wedding day. The details and vibrant red colors for their wedding were breathtaking. They both looked stunning.

The ceremony was held in the sanctuary of Newport Mesa Church. (This also happens to be where we got married a few years ago). The church shares its campus with Vanguard University in Costa Mesa which offers some unique spots for portraits. Also, Janice and Steven's officiant was a close friend who did things a little differently. You might notice Janice and Steven are facing the audience during the ceremony. Their officiant felt it was the two of them that everyone came to see, not him. We thought it was a nice change of pace.

Their reception reflected their desire to spend time with their guests. Their table was adorned with Janice's exquisite bouquet and their names beautifully hand made by Janice's father. The best man's speech wished them a wonderful start to their married lives together. It was a gorgeous afternoon filled with a lot of laughter and love. These two are brilliant minds and their creativity showed off in their favors. They had Hershey bars custom wrapped with their pictures and new last name. The back of the wrapper had 1 Corinthians 13 reminding everyone of the love they share together. It was a sweet wedding in many ways.

Janice and Steven, we're thankful for our friendship with you both. Congratulations on your future together. Welcome back to the area too! We're looking forward to seeing you soon as you settle in your new home.
