Billie & Eddie: Long Beach, CA

Billie and Eddie are the type of people you meet once and you feel like you've known them forever. They have hearts that are pure and loving. As we spend more time with them, we realize how outward focused these two are. They are always concerned about the people around them and put their all into loving their friends and family. They possess an amazing character and really make you feel like you matter in their life. Billie & Eddie's engagement session was so much fun. We took a weekend and headed up to Central California to change up the pace a bit. We hung out all day and really got to know each other. These two share a love that is based on a beautiful friendship. They are such a wonderful couple. One of the shots below really shows their fun and goofy senses of humor. Anyone familiar with National Lampoon's Vacation? :)

After spending such a wonderful day with Billie and Eddie for their engagement shoot, we couldn't wait for their wedding day. When we began photographing these two getting ready at the Coast Hotel, all the details they spent so much time planning came together. The colors were gorgeous, the flowers were beautiful, the bridesmaids looked stunning, the groomsmen were sharp, the rings were amazing...and best of all, the bride and groom couldn't have looked more happy and amazing.

One of the things that reveals the loving and caring hearts of Billie and Eddie is how much they pour into their niece and nephew. Billie is a natural mom and Eddie was born to be an awesome dad. In my opinion, that's always a fool proof sign of wonderful people!

Once Billie and Eddie put the final touches on getting ready, we headed next door to the Reef Restaurant where they celebrated their love for one another and tied the knot. It was a gorgeous day, a beautiful location and all of Billie and Eddie's hard work showed itself in an incredibly gorgeous array of details and fun. As you enjoy some of their wedding images below, you'll see one of my favorite moments in their ceremony. After their first kiss as husband and wife, they embraced each other for a warm hug. It shows their genuine love for each other as well as the amazing friendship that lays the foundation for their marriage.

As you can see they're fun loving and caring people. Their cake was spectacular. The colors were vivid and really set the stage for the fun they were about to lay out during their reception. The ballroom at the Reef Restaurant was gorgeous and opened up to a deck that overlooked the Long Beach City Scape. Billie and Eddie let loose and enjoyed their guests. Their reactions to their guests and the smiles on their faces say it all!

At the end of the night, these two were exhausted and happy, the sign of a perfect ending if you ask me. At one point through the night, Eddie said, "This is the happiest day of my life." How can you not adore someone like that?

Billie and Eddie, thank you so much for not only allowing us the absolute privilege of capturing your wedding day, but for becoming our friends. We had so much fun at your wedding. We can't wait to see you soon again and watch your marriage grow as beautifully as your wedding day came together. You're amazing.
