a calm in the storm : Issue No. 1

Throughout the last couple years, we’ve had a lot of brides experience different and difficult situations within their wedding planning phases, which is often accompanied by a full time schedule of work, school and or family. After thinking and praying about the different experiences our brides have shared with us, we want to give you a place where you can come and ask questions or just read about others’ experiences. I hope it gives you a place to come and be renewed about your upcoming marriage to your fiance. Remember, no matter what comes at you with planning, one thing always stays the same, you will be marrying the person you love, who also loves you. If you have a personal experience you’d like to share or are in the middle of a situation you’re not sure what to do about, or you just have comments you’d like to send, feel free to e-mail us at comments@caldwell-media.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
A day with “Stanley”

A couple weeks ago we had the privilege of traveling around Southern California with the Stanely Cup. Go Anaheim Ducks! The Ducks are the first Southern California team to win the Stanley Cup finals. So it was only appropriate that “Stanley” had a chance to visit some key spots in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. We started at 5 am with Mike the cup handler, some amazing people who work with the Honda Center and the Ducks (Seth, Jamie and Chris), Steve the videographer, one of the hardest workers I know (Megan), and the two of us. We travelled to the San Juan Capistrano Mission, John Wayne Airport, Orange County Performing Arts Center, the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, Orange County Courthouse, Pink’s Hot Dogs, The Hollywood Sign (a park just below it), Graumann’s Chinese Theater/Hollywood Walk of Fame, crashed the red carpet at the Espy Awards, Trump National Golf Course, and the Griffith Observatory ended the 20 hour shoot. It was an incredible day filled with interesting moments, funny episodes and some breathtaking backdrops to photograph with Stanley. Below are some shots from the shoot.

welcome to weddings by andrew & anjula caldwell

We’ve had a crazy year and summer so far, so we’ve decided to start blogging our adventures so you can see what we’ve been up to. Over the past year, we bought a house, moved to Temecula, CA and decided to focus on shooting weddings and architectural photography. We love it! As a husband and wife team, it is amazing to be able to share our giftings in both our marriage and our business. Not to mention it’s like renewing our vows every time we photograph a wedding. We are so blessed to have so many amazing couples join us on this path! We hope you continue to visit out our blog as we’ll be updating it regularly with lots of new pictures, cool wedding ideas and an advice section entitled “A Calm in the Storm”. We hope you’ll find pictures you enjoy, get ideas for your wedding and most importantly inspires and encourages you as you grow. Thanks again for having an interest in our lives.
